@studio1

hello,

yes the SBT10 version have much better result for beta as SBT11.
For beta is SBT10 number one.

The tubes which are already old production in soviet area can be broken quickly.
I have two SBT10 buy in Ukraine one Tube was defect.(To much counts)
This Tube use with 10X 10Mohm Resistors!

Also two SI8b tube was bought in Ukraine a Tube was defect. (very high counts)
This SI8B Tube needs a 20Mohm Resistor!

From three SBT11a bought in Bulgaria was a tube not 100% okay.
(short circuit between two anodes) he did working.

There are now Russian tubes in new production, are indeed more expensive
but certainly better values than ancient.

New SBT10 Tube in new condition the beta series: now for beta and gamm only

This pancake more flat: now for beta gamma only

I have this pancake Beta 2-1, very good! For alpha beta gamma

This new tube i think is similar to SBT11A: Alpha beta gamma:

Perfect cmug, when it comes play around and let us know what you think.

Perfetto cmug, quando arriva fai qualche prova e facci sapere cosa ne pensi.

Hi I untherstand. My first 2 projects worked. So I hope the 3 also. Project 1 was an ionchamber from coffee tin + 1 resistor + darlington. Project 2 was my SI8-B detector and RHelectronics TTL output print.

I try to read the specification sheet of the SBT10A tube (I found on pripyat website).
But I can’t read Russian language. But from schematic picture of tube I understand pins connection.
I looked for an circuit online, how connect this tube but I only found 1 website.
How should I connect this tube to my counter ? I bought an counter from rhelectronics.

The Kathode (Minus) is High Voltage Geiger Probe Driver connect to the earth resistor, that not the problem.
But the Anode (+) ? should I just parallel connect them ? (I saw that on a photo on Ebay)
or
Should I give every single Anode an (10 MΩ ??) resistor and then connect them ?

Already thank you for your tips and greetings from Netherlands:

You can find data SBT10 here: [Local Link Removed for Guests]" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (download pdf, it's in english)
as regards the resistors speech there are two schools of thought: or all electrodes in parallel and only one resistance or a resistor for each anode, I think you have to try what seems the best solution.
